Brad Paisley celebrates his 44th Birthday today.

Paisley was born in 1972, in Glen Dale, West Virginia to Doug Paisley, a worker for the West Virginia DoT, and Sandy Paisley a teacher.

After high school, Paisley went to college and interned at ASCAP, Atlantic Records, and Fitzgerald-Hartley Management Firm. During this time Paisley would meet many people who would help his career.

Within a week of graduating college, Paisley signed a songwriting contract with EMI Music Publishing.

In 1999, he made his debut as a singer on the label Arista Nashville, with the song “Who Needs Pictures”. The rest is history.

Next Stop Martinsville Speedway

Next stop Martinsville Speedway for Sunday’s Goody’s Fast Relief 500 as the semifinal round of the post-season Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup begins.  The eight remaining title contenders are traveling along a path that will ultimately lead to a championship for one with 1,076 “Miles-2-Miami” left before Ford Championship Weekend in November.   This will be the sixth and final short-track race of the year and the only Chase race to be run on an oval less than one mile in length.  Joe Gibbs Racing has dominated the 2016 short-track schedule with wins in four of the five races run thus far.  Carl Edwards has victories at Richmond International Raceway and Bristol.  Denny Hamlin won last month in Richmond and Kyle Busch was victorious in this year’s first visit to Martinsville on April 3rd.  All four of J-G-R’s Cup Series competitors, including Matt Kenseth, have advanced to the Chase’s Round of Eight … Busch is bidding to become the first driver to sweep both Martinsville races in a single season since Hamlin doubled up in 2010.

Working Out With The Hubby – Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, both stay in tip-top shape for their respective careers, and Carrie says they’ll sometimes work out together to help keep each other motivated.  Carrie tells E! News that they’ll sometimes put partner exercises into their workout routines, which helps them push each other further towards their fitness goals. For example, Underwood says, “I’ll have to do 50 push-ups and he’ll have to run on the treadmill, at a good pace, until I’m done with my 50 push-ups.” Or, she says, “We’ve done this thing where he has to run a mile and the longer it takes him to run a mile, the more I’m holding a wall sit.”

·       Carrie adds that her and Mike are all about mixing things up and will occasionally work kickboxing and weight training into their routines. She adds, “If we have a nice gym at a hotel we utilize whatever equipment is there, and we try to take a class every once and awhile.”
