If you’ve been to a Tim McGraw tour show lately, or maybe even more than one, you may notice something different. McGraw and Faith Hill switch up opening acts for their shows each weekend.

“We wanted somebody different every weekend, because it kept it fresh for us as much as anything, but you want people who have inspired you along the way somehow,” McGraw said in a recent radio interview.

Throughout their upcoming tour, show-goers can expect to see Rachel Platten opening the show and Rhiannon Giddens on a handful of occasions. Others include: Devin Dawson, Andra Day, Maggie Rose, Natalie Hemby, Ben Rector, Brent Cobb and Eric Paslay.  This list of opening acts is set to be altered in the fall portion of their tour.
