Osky Girls Track Athletes Compete in State Pentathlon

The Oskaloosa girls’ track and field team’s season might have been over, but three members of the team traveled to Washington yesterday to compete in the Iowa Association of Track Coaches State Pentathlon. The girls competed in the 100 meter hurdles, shot put, long jump, high jump, and the 800 meter run. Taylor Richardson led the Indian charge, finishing in fifth overall. Sophomore Shalandra Shilling finished in 8th, and Dana Barlow finished in 18th. Head Girls’ Track Coach Elizabeth Luck said she was very proud of the efforts from the girls in the event.
