OSKALOOSA POLICE CHARGE OTTUMWA MAN WITH SEXUAL ABUSE

Oskaloosa Police Charge Ottumwa Man with Sexual Abuse

(OSKALOOSA, Iowa) – On Friday April 13, 2018 the Oskaloosa Police Department charged Mason Nelson, age 19, of Ottumwa, Iowa with two counts of Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree.

These charges stem from and investigation into allegations that on March 10 and 13, 2018 he reportedly had sexual contact with two fourteen-year-old juveniles while staying in Oskaloosa.

The defendant is currently incarcerated in the Wapello County Jail in Ottumwa, Iowa on unrelated charges. Upon the conclusion of those charges, the defendant will be transported to the Mahaska County Jail where he will face the above charges of Sexual Abuse Third Degree.

Sexual Abuse Third Degree is a class “C” Felony punishable by up to ten years in a state penitentiary.
