The brackets have been set for the Iowa girls high school volleyball playoffs.  In Class 4A, Oskaloosa will host Newton Wednesday, October 17 and Knoxville will host Carlisle.  Pella has a first round bye and will host either Knoxville or Carlisle on October 23.  In Class 3A, EBF will host PCM on October 17.  In Class 1A, the playoffs start Tuesday, October 16 with BGM at North Mahaska, Melcher-Dallas at Lynnville-Sully and Sigourney at Winfield-Mt. Union.  Montezuma has a first round bye and will host North Mahaska or BGM on October 22.

Thursday night in high school volleyball, Lynville-Sully swept Sigourney three sets to none.  Tomorrow, Oskaloosa hosts a tournament starting at 9 at the high school.
