The Oskaloosa City Council will be dealing with traffic tonight (10/15).  At 5pm, they will study proposed safety improvements from the city’s 2018 traffic study…and then vote on which improvements to make at their regular meeting at 6pm.  Among the suggested changes are removing the protected left turn signals from the east and westbound approaches at A Avenue and Market Street, removing the traffic signal at the east and westbound approaches of Highway 23 and 3^rdAvenue East and putting in stop signs there, and converting Highway A to a three-lane road from Highway 432 to the eastern city limits, as well as making Market Street a three lane road from 16^th Avenue to 2^nd Avenue.
