OSKALOOSA WITH THE BIG WIN OVER KNOXVILLE FRIDAY NIGHT

Oskaloosa with the big win over Knoxville Friday night

Oskaloosa’s Cole Henry is making massive re-writes to the football team’s record book.  In Friday night’s 42-7 win at Knoxville, the senior quarterback completed 19 of 24 passes for 338 yards and two touchdowns.  The 338 yards is the second most in a game in school history, behind Ethan Arnold’s 402 against Fairfield in 2016.  For the season, Henry has now completed 131 passes, which breaks Jon Eveland’s mark of 121 from 2008.  Henry is also on the verge of breaking Oskaloosa records for yardage in a season (Arnold, 1969 in 2016) and touchdown passes in a season (Arnold, 21 in 2016).  He has a chance to set new records Friday night when the Indians play at South Tama County.  We’ll have that game on KMZN and the No Coast Network.
