Montezuma is still buzzing after the Bravettes volleyball team earned a trip to the State Tournament Tuesday (10/30) night.  Montezuma defeated New London in three straight sets to win the Class 1A Region 7 tournament.  Bravettes Coach Katie Dunlap spoke after Tuesday’s game about her team.

“These girls, I’m so proud of their ability to keep fighting.  Even when we were down, even when they wanted to hang their heads, they didn’t.  And everyone on the court, everyone on the bench helped win this game tonight (Tuesday).”

Montezuma will play Holy Trinity Catholic next Wednesday night (11/7) at 8 in the opening round of the 1A State volleyball tournament.  KBOE-FM and the No Coast Network will have live coverage from the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids starting at 8.
