OSKALOOSA SCHOOL BOARD MEETING LAST NIGHT

Oskaloosa school board meeting last night

The Oskaloosa School Board voted Tuesday (1/8) to spend $193,000 on a new security system.  194 cameras will be installed to cover all of the school district’s facilities.  The Board also tabled proposed changes to the Elementary School’s leadership structure; Superintendent Paula Wright did not give details and said she is still gathering information.  It was also announced Tuesday that Grade 3 through 5 Principal Tim Veiseth will step down at the end of the school year and that high school and middle school librarian Patricia ErkenBrack will retire at the end of the school year.
