OFFICIALS CONTINUE TO SEARCH FOR MISSING CLAYTON COUNTY TEEN

Officials continue to search for missing Clayton County teen

Officials with the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office continue to ask for the public’s help as they continue to search for a missing 16-year-old girl.

Jody Palmer, 16, of rural Colesburg, disappeared at around midnight on January 5. On Saturday, investigators announced they want to talk to anyone who may have been in contact with Jody in the weeks leading up to her disappearance.

The search for Jody, which now includes investigators from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, has turned up little information. Officials said information they collected indicate she may have traveled east out of the state of Iowa. However, they said she might be attempting to travel to California.

If you have any information in the case, you are asked to call the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office at 563-245-2422.
