REMEMBERING LUKE PERRY AT 1994 ACM AWARDS

Actor Luke Perry put on a black cowboy hat and stood alongside country music royalty when he presented a prestigious award to Alan Jackson at the 1994 ACM Awards.

The actor joined Naomi Judd to hand out the Single Record of the Year award. Jackson was nominated for “Chattahoochee” and his win in this category was one of two on the night. However, today an award for this iconic country song takes a back seat to the man presenting.

Perry died on Monday (March 4) at the age of 52 after being hospitalized following a stroke last Thursday (Feb. 28). The actor is best know as Dylan McKay in the ’90s television seriesĀ Beverly Hills 90210.
