Firefighters were called to an empty apartment building at North C and F Ave West in Oskaloosa shortly after midnight.  Units from Oskaloosa, New Sharon, Cedar Township,and an aerial truck from the Pella Fire Department responded to the scene. No injuries were reported. MHP Emergency Services, Oskaloosa Police, the Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office were also at the scene. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
