Sigourney swept their opponents beating Belle Plaine 66-6, Iowa Valley 39-30 and North Mahaska 54-21. North Mahaska did beat Belle Plaine 42-6 but fell to Iowa Valley 60-10.
Albia dominated their competition beating Central Decatur 71-3, Pleasantville 62-12 and Davis County 72-9, Albia’s top ranked Heavyweight Carter Isley took care of another top 10 ranked opponent as he won by fall in a quick :58 over Davis County’s Ben Kincart who was ranked 8th. Davis County also fell to Central Decatur 29-26 and Pleasantville 51-14.
