On this day in 1986, Alabama’s album My Home’s In Alabama was certified Double-Platinum. The album spawned for singles, the title track “My Home is Alabama” peaked at #17, “I Wanna Come Over” that peaked at #33, as well as “Tennessee River” and “Why Lady Why” which both topped the charts at #1.
