Carrie Underwood was honored with another accolade on Tuesday night (4/25) when BMI presented her with the BMI Board of Directors Award at the 69th annual BMI/NAB Dinner in Las Vegas. The award was given to Carrie for the impact her music has had on the broadcast industry as well as her contributions as a songwriter. During the ceremony, Underwood was also presented with nine BMI “Million-Air” Certificates, which signify songs achieving one million or more spins on the radio.
