The fifth annual holiday fundraiser show will be held at Smokey Row at 6 pm. Please bring canned goods/Non-Perishable food items for donation to the ecumenical cupboard. Performances by Micah Leaverton, Journey's End, TTO, Square States, and Brant Bollman will be held.

December 25
Central United Methodist Church is again offering Christmas dinner as a gift to the community on Christmas Day... Dinner will be served at noon and the meal will include stuffed pork loin, corn, seasoned green beans, mashed potatoes with pumpkin roll and black forest cake... While reservations are not necessary, they would be appreciated... Call 672-2564 if you plan to attend.

Y.E.S. is a newly formed group for active singles over 50... You're invited to bring in 2015 with the Y.E.S. group's New Year's Eve party with games & music on Wednesday, December 31st starting at 6 p.m at St. Paul Church at 501 High Ave East in Oskaloosa... January 16
The Oskaloosa High School Student Council is hosting a Spaghetti Supper in the small gym at the Oskaloosa High School on Friday January 16th at 5:45 pm continuing through the first quarter of the Varsity boy's game... The meal includes spaghetti with or without sauce, meatballs, garlic bread, and lemonade or water. Cost is $3.00, and proceeds go towards fixing OHS Student Council's sign near the Herald.

Now offering:
First Church of the Nazarene in Ottumwa-Kids Club now offers a bus ministry to pick up kids or adults on Wednesdays. Service starts at 6:30pm, bus pick up starts at 5:30pm. Call the church for more info at 684-6501. 

First Thursday Evening of Each Month:
The Safe Place Suicide Support Group will meet on the first Thursday evening of each month at the Celebrate Church, 1005 N Lincoln in Knoxville. Meetings run from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
