14th Annual Youth Outdoor Field Day

NOTE: The early registration deadline is this Friday, Sept. 15!

The 14th Annual Youth Outdoor Field Day will be held at the Russell Wildlife Area on Saturday, September 30th. A registration form if available at the MCCB website www.mahaskaconservation.com for you to print off, complete and mail in/drop off with the registration fee. So sign up the kids for our annual event that helps “connect kids with the outdoors”!

We are planning a great event this year! Kids and their families will be able to participate at stations at their own leisure from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.

The Russell Wildlife Area is located at 2254 – 200th Street, New Sharon, Iowa which is four miles north of Oskaloosa on Hwy. 63 and one mile east on 200th St. If you have questions, please call the Mahaska County Conservation Board at (641)673-9327.

Please note the following fee and registration information for this year…

Pre-register by September 15th!
$5.00 per child if registered by Sept. 15
• These early registrations include a child’s t-shirt & lunch and1 adult lunch. Additional lunches will be $5.00 each. Additional t-shirts will be $10.00 each.
• You will receive a meal ticket at the event to present at the lunch line.
• In order for early registrations to make the t-shirt order, registration forms must be received by mail or dropped off at the Mahaska County Conservation Board office at the Russell Wildlife Area by 4:30 on Friday, Sept. 15.

$10.00 per child if registration is received after Sept. 15 or on the day of event
• Late registrations do not include a t-shirt and lunch.

The event will be held rain or shine.
