Knight of Columbus fish fry at Oskaloosa Hy-Vee Fri., March 29th from 4-8pm

Knights of Columbus will be holding a fish fry at Oskaloosa Hy-Vee on March 29th from 4-8pm.  They will be serving catfish fillets or cod with fries, cole slaw and hush puppies.  The cost of the meal is $7.00 and $1.00 from every meal goes to the Knights of Columbus.

Iowa Humanities guest speaker at Oskaloosa Public Library Tues., April 2nd

The Friends of the Oskaloosa Public Library will present an Iowa Humanities lecture program by David Connon, Tuesday April 2nd at 6:00 P.M., in the Library's 3rd floor meeting room. Mr. Connon will speak about the Underground Railroad in Iowa, and about the role of Grinnell in the Civil War era organization, including the town's founder J. B. Grinnell. The lecture is free and open to the public.

The 13th annual performance of the What Cheer Winds concert band will be given on Sunday April 7, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the What Cheer Opera House.
