HAWKEYES & CYCLONES IN NCAA MEN'S TOURNAMENT

Hawkeyes & Cyclones in NCAA men’s tournament

They made it to the dance.  The Iowa Hawkeyes earned a 10th seed in the NCAA basketball tournament Sunday (3/17). The Hawkeyes will take on Cincinnati this coming Friday (3/22) in Columbus, Ohio.  Tip-off time is scheduled for 11:15am, and remember you can hear Iowa post-season basketball on KBOE-FM.

Iowa State didn’t have to sweat it out after winning the Big 12 tournament over the weekend.  The Cyclones are a number six seed and they’ll travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma to play Ohio State.  That game will be on Friday night (3/22).

If you have tickets for the NCAA tournament games in Des Moines on Thursday (3/21) and Saturday (3/23), here’s who you will see:  Minnesota plays Louisville in Thursday’s first game in the day session, followed by Michigan State against Bradley.  Then in the evening session, Florida takes on Nevada and Michigan meets up with Montana.  Thursday’s winners will meet on Saturday with those winners headed to the Sweet 16.

Monday night (3/18), the Hawkeye and Cyclone women’s teams will find out where they’ll be in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament.  That selection show starts at 6pm.
