Monday (5/20) is also the first day of high school baseball and softball season.  Today’s high school baseball schedule has North Mahaska hosting HLV, Sigourney at English Valleys, Montezuma at Lynnville-Sully, EBF at Moravia, Pleasantville at Pella Christian, Pella hosts Carlisle and Albia plays a doubleheader at Grinnell.  Oskaloosa opens its’ baseball season Tuesday night (5/21) with a doubleheader at Knoxville.

Monday night in high school softball, Oskaloosa opens at Albia.  We’ll have that game for you on KBOE-FM with coverage at 7:15 and the first pitch at 7:30.  Other high school softball tonight: HLV at North Mahaska, Sigourney at English Valleys, Montezuma at Lynnville-Sully, EBF at Moravia, Pella Christian hosts Pleasantville, Ballard at Pella and Newton at Knoxville.
