Thomas Rhett has announced the launch of his first-ever headlining tour next year. Rhett’s “2017 Home Team Tour” will kick off Saginaw, Michigan, on February 23 and will wrap up with a show at Nashville’s outdoor Ascend Amphitheater later that year. The tour will also feature special guest Kelsea Ballerini as the opening act, with newcomers Russell Dickerson and Ryan Hurd also making appearances throughout the tour.

·       Thomas says of the headlining tour, “This is really the first time we’ve been able to totally build our own stage and really plan for our show with all our fans. There has been this undeniable energy out on the road this year, and I know having Kelsea out there is going to amp things up even more.”

·       Rhett also says having his own tour allows him to give Dickerson and Hurd a platform to reach new fans, much like how Blake Shelton, Toby Keith and Jason Aldean did for him. Thomas shares, “I’m a huge fan of both Ryan and Russell and I can’t wait for my fans to get to know them too.”

·       Tickets for select tour dates go on sale to the public on October 7.
