Iowa US Senator Joni Ernst is back in Washington after the Easter recess.  She spent Friday afternoon (4/26) in Sigourney, touring Atwood Electric’s facility.  Ernst says the first order of business will be to pass a supplemental disaster relief package that will help those affected by flooding in western Iowa.

“I met with the President and Several other senators before I left Washington, DC to talk about the supplemental assistance and it must include the midwest funding for our flood victims.”

Ernst says the Senate will also be working on judicial nominations and presidential appointments.
