Junior Motorsports has signed Justin Allgaier to drive its Number-7 Chevrolet in the 2016 NASCAR X-FINITY Series, replacing Regan Smith. Sponsorship will come from Illinois-based Brandt, a leading agriculture retailer and manufacturer of agricultural specialty products. Allgaier is currently wrapping up the Sprint Cup season at H-Scott Motorsports, where he’s thirtieth in the point standings with just one top-ten finish in thirty-two starts.

Smith recently confirmed that he would not be returning to the “7” car after this season, in which he has two wins and stands third in points heading into the final three races.
