With music streaming on the rise, many songwriters often struggle to get fair compensation for their songs if they don’t get picked as radio singles. As the songwriters continue to fight for fair pay from streaming services, Kip Moore has stepped up to provide a yearly bonus to his fellow co-writers in hopes that it will give them the financial security to keep writing great music. Kip tells Billboard that while he knows not every artist can follow his lead, he hopes that some of the more successful artists can follow suit to help the struggling songwriters in Nashville.
