A man has died after his dump truck rolled into the ditch Friday morning (12/7) south of New Sharon. The Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office says 68-year-old Donald Wonderlich of Ollie, Iowa was going north on Highway 63 around 11am.  His dump truck was loaded with several tons of road gravel.  Wonderlich’s truck got into the southbound lane….and then the west ditch, where it rolled over and landed on its top. Law enforcement and passers-by helped get Wonderlich out of his truck.  He was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.
