DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in a Des Moines parking lot.

Officers were sent to the convenience store parking lot around 6:45 p.m. Thursday. Some people there reported being shot at and that one of them had been struck. He was taken by private vehicle to Broadlawns Medical Center.

Police say the wounded 20-year-old Des Moines man has since died.

The man’s name hasn’t been released. No arrests have been reported.
