April 28, 2017 – Ottumwa, Iowa –   Traffic will be reduced to two lanes, one lane of travel in each direction, beginning May 1, 2017, weather permitting. The bridge contractor will begin work to paint the steel structure.  Work is expected to take several weeks to complete.   Drivers should reduce speed and be aware of workers and equipment in the area.  Seek other routes to avoid any delays.
