On this day in 2004, Warner Bros. Records released Big & Rich’s debut album, Horse Of A Different Color. The album contained the hits “Wild West Show”, “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)”, “Holy Water”, and “Big Time”.  “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” peaked at No. 11 on the charts and was certified platinum by the RIAA as a single.

The album was certified 3× Platinum by the RIAA.
