One down and one to go.  The Wapello County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an Ottumwa man in connection with the theft of a UTV over the weekend.  22-year-old Dallas Tapley was arrested Tuesday morning in connection with the theft of a UTV last Saturday from a home in rural Wapello County.  The UTV was found Monday at a residence on Bluegrass Road in rural Wapello County.  Tapley is charged with first degree theft, possession of meth, assaulting a police officer, interference with official acts and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Tapley is in the Wapello County Jail on $30,000 cash bond.

Wapello County law enforcement is still looking for whoever stole another UTV late last week.  Last Thursday, a Polaris High Lifter UTV was reported taken from a residence on 180th Avenue in rural Wapello County.  It was found the next day in northern Davis County and has been returned to its owner.
