Oskaloosa is one of several Iowa cities taking part in Restaurant Week, which runs today (9/14) through September 23.  Oskaloosa Main Street Director Emily Brown talks about Restaurant Week.

“A week that we really encourage people to get out and support some of our restaurants that are having specials or special events happening.  The only thing you really need to do is go out to a participating restaurant and they do the rest.”

Ottumwa is also taking part in Main Street Iowa’s Restaurant Week.  There will be a Taste of Downtown at Saturday’s Walk on Art Street in Ottumwa with restaurants offering free samples from 11am to 1pm.
