Oskaloosa boys basketball won last night

Oskaloosa’s boys’ basketball team won its third in a row Tuesday (12/4), beating Centerville 84-43 in Centerville.  Senior Cole Henry had 20 points, 14 rebounds and six assists for the Indians, with junior center Xavier Foster adding 17 points, 11 boards and eight blocks.  The 3-0 Indians return to Little Hawkeye Conference action Friday night (12/7) when they host Dallas Center-Grimes.

Other boys’ high school basketball from last night: Albia over Chariton 55-44, Belle Plaine defeated Sigourney 52-39, Dallas Center-Grimes routed Perry 66-26, EBF over Davis County 69-38, Fairfield edged Ottumwa 54-51, Iowa Valley beat Tri-County 51-37, Keota over English Valleys 76-35, Knoxville defeated Clarke 74-64, Lynnville-Sully downed Colfax-Mingo 78-72, Montezuma over BGM 73-43, North Mahaska beat HLV 49-34, PCM beat North Polk 78-52, Pella defeated Ballard 60-53, Pella Christian over Carlisle 70-41 and Twin Cedars defeated Moulton-Udell 49-42.

In girls-high school basketball Tuesday: Ballard got by Pella 56-53, Chariton over Albia 63-17, Dallas Center-Grimes conquered Perry 71-15, Davis County edged EBF 50-45, Highland edged Pekin 48-47, Keota over English Valleys 41-36, Knoxville defeated Clarke 59-38, Lynnville-Sully over Colfax-Mingo 65-45, Montezuma over BGM 54-21, North Mahaska beats HLV 59-23, North Polk downed PCM 52-33, Ottumwa got by Fairfield 50-46 and Sigourney defeated Belle Plaine 33-27.
