OSKALOOSA BOYS' GOLF FINISH SECOND

Oskaloosa Boys’ Golf Finish Second

The Oskaloosa boys’ golf team fought through less-than-stellar conditions to have a great finish at Lincoln Valley Golf Course in State Center last night. The Indians finished in second place as a team in a very tightly contested tournament, winning a tiebreaker over Grinnell and beating Norwalk by just one stroke. Nevada was the team title winners at 316, 17 strokes better than Osky.

The Indians were led by Spencer Tucker, who shot an 80 to finish in 5th place. Andrew Brouwer was right behind him with an 81, which landed him 10th.

The boys’ golf team is right back at it for the Indians, as they face off against Pella Christian and Dallas Center-Grimes at Beaver Creek Golf Course this afternoon. The meet starts at 4 PM.
