The Oskaloosa City Council will start working on its budget for fiscal year 2020 tonight (1/7).  The Council will hold a study session this afternoon at 4:30 to go over funding requests from various groups.  Then at the Council’s regular meeting starting at 6 tonight, the Council will vote on a 28E agreement between the City and Oskaloosa School District to build an early childhood and recreation center.  The Oskaloosa School Board approved that agreement last month.  The City Council will also have a second reading on raising sanitary sewer rates by eight percent.  Again, tonight’s Oskaloosa City Council meeting starts at 6 at City Hall.
