Oskaloosa’s girls’ basketball team opens its season Tuesday night (11/20) with a home game against Centerville. The Indians are coming off a winless season a year ago, but Coach Jacie White says things are looking better in practice so far.

“We went to Grinnell and played in a jamboree…had a half against Van Buren the other night and really competed for two quarters, doing things that we struggled with last year.  So I’m excited for this year, we’ve got some things falling together, girls working well together, working hard playing together, so….good things happening.”

We’ll have Tuesday’s Oskaloosa/Centerville game on KMZN and the No Coast Network.  There won’t be a JV game, so the varsity game will start at 6:15 Tuesday night.  Our coverage will start at 6.
