Oskaloosa Man Arrested on Drug Charges

On June 19th, 2017 at approximately 12:45 a.m. members of the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force with the assistance of the Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office and the Oskaloosa Police Department executed drug search warrants on a motor vehicle and residence located at 807 North H Street Apt #1 in Oskaloosa where illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia were seized.

As a result of the search warrants, one individual was taken to the Mahaska County Jail on drug charges. Zackary A. Wallace age 23 of that residence was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, a class D felony, and fail to affix a drug tax stamp, a class D felony.

As a reminder, a criminal charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force is based in Des Moines and currently has 21 central Iowa local, county, state and federal agencies participating in the task force.

    Where does one purchase a “drug stamp”? Have always thought this is a redicoulous charge. It’s already illegal to possess this drug?

    That drug stamp gets throwed out of court every time because you cant self incriminate your self They print this just to portray to look bad but most people don’t even care anymore.
