Here’s a traffic reminder for Ottumwa: starting yesterday (12/3), the southeast and southwest legs of the intersection of East Main and Vine will be closed for about a week to connect a new water main.  The City of Ottumwa says Carl’s Used Cars, Taqueria Juquilita Restaurant, Hillside Apartments, Kempf Rentals and Safelite Autoglass will all still be accessible from East Main Street.  The detour for East Main Street will be Birch Street to 2nd Street to Vine to East Main.  The alley used to access businesses in Phase 3 such as Schimm’s Cafe will be accessible from College Street on the west and Vine Street on the East.
