Pella CEO Retiring

The CEO of Pella Corporation is retiring. Pella makes commercial and residential windows and doors. It’s a family-owned company.

Adam Farver, a descendent of the company’s founder, has been chairman of the board since this spring. He is now serving as interim president and C-E-O of Pella Corporation. Pat Meyer — a 25-year-employee of the company — has been C-E-O since 2009. He’s retiring. Meyer is a native of Granger, Iowa, who earned an M.B.A. at Drake University.

According to the company’s website, six-thousand people work at Pella Corporation. It has 10 manufacturing plants that make the company’s made-to-order windows and doors. Its corporate headquarters is in Pella, the city where the company was founded.
