Pella Police Investigated A Burglary

On  July 28th, Pella Police investigated a burglary at the Bos Landen Golf Club’s Pro Shop. In gaining entry to the building the burglar caused damage to an exterior door and frame, and once inside committed theft.
The investigation was worked in conjunction with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, and the Bos Landen burglary was quickly linked to burglaries at other golf courses in the region.  Scott Alan Johnson of Newton was developed as a suspect and on December 28th investigators requested an arrest warrant charging Johnson with the Bos Landen burglary.
Scott Alan Johnson is currently being held in Jasper County Jail on related charges.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and a person charged with a criminal offense is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
