Rob Kauffman has bought interest in Ganassi Team. Kauffman is currently co-owner of Michael Waltrip Racing but has agreed to buy an interest in Chip Ganassi Racing. Both organizations presently field two cars in the Sprint Cup Series. In a statement released Thursday, M-W-R said the companies would continue to operate separately for the remainder of the 2015 season but offered no details on 2016 and beyond.
