Sam Hunt’s relationship with his wife Hannah Lee Fowler is a good example of how persistence pays off. Before the two were engaged, Sam says he visited Hannah where she lived in Hawaii several times to work his powers of persuasion and get her back in his life. Sam tells Entertainment Tonight, “I think last summer I went out [to Hawaii] about seven times in about three months. Trying to talk to her about coming back. And the seventh trip I convinced her.”

The couple returned to Hawaii after their April wedding for some honeymooning on the Big Island, in addition to spending some quality time in Puerto Rico.
