SIGN CLOCKS SPEED

Sign Clocks Speed

OSKALOOSA — You might have noticed a new sign around town. Erected on Monday, just across the street from City Hall, a digital speed limit sign was placed on a lamppost to remind drivers to watch their speed.
“It gets moved around on request from the chief of police (Jake McGee),” said Community Services Officer Alex Sirovy. “It’s to make sure everybody notices the changes of speed limit when it goes into the business district. A lot of people think it’s 25 miles per hour through there; it’s actually 20.”
