Gamestop has announced it will close for good in Oskaloosa at the end of this month. A sign posted on the door of the shop explains that Gamestop is simply moving to Ottumwa, however there is already a Gamestop established at that location. It is unclear at this time what will replace the video game store after it closes. Sorry, gamers — employees of the store said there will be no “going out of business” sales as their products will be rerouted to different outlets.

Gamestop Headquarters was unable to be reached for comment at the time of the publication.
