BREAKING: New Artist Winners Announced for ACM Awards

Brothers Osborne, Maren Morris and Jon Pardi have been named as winners in new artist categories at the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards. Brothers Osborne earn their early win in the New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year category, while Morris and Pardi and been named New Female and New Male Vocalist of the Year, respectively. These awards mark the first ACM Award wins for each of these artists.

 

·         Each of these winners will also perform at the upcoming ACM Awards, which will be broadcast live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 2, airing at 8:00 PM ET on CBS.

ACM’s Merle Haggard Spirit Award

The Academy of Country Music (ACM) has announced the inception of the ACM Merle Haggard Spirit Award. The award will be presented to an artist whose career reflects the integrity and steadfast spirit embodied by the late Merle Haggard. The inaugural ACM Merle Haggard Spirit Award will be handed out at the 10th Annual ACM Honors ceremony to a recipient still to be announced.

 

·       Lady Antebellum will host the 10th ACM Honors, which takes place on August 30 at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. The ceremony will also make its television debut on September 9 at 9:00 PM ET on CBS.
