On December 25, 2015 at approximately 10 PM, the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a house fire at 116 E Main Street in Agency, IA. An investigation was conducted and it was determined that the fire had been
intentionally set and ruled to be an arson.

David Latham was arrested as a result of an investigation by deputies on the evening of August 1, 2017.

Latham, age 47 of Ottumwa, IA. Latham was charged with Arson 2nd – a Class C Felony and Burglary 3rd – a Class D Felony.

Latham is currently in the Wapello County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.
