The City of Eddyville “Christmas on the River” will be held on December 1. Activities start at 5:00 PM with the Legion having a soup supper. Many activities and open houses are being planned.
The weather outside might not be frightful, but Chris Young’s new announcement is certainly delightful. After days of hinting that he’s been in the studio working on something big, Young has announced that he’s recording his very first Christmas album. Young revealed the exciting news yesterday (6/30) during a Facebook Live video that was shot in the studio.
The video started with only Chris in view as he prepped his fans for the announcement. Young then turned the camera around to show that the studio had been decked out for the Christmas holiday, including two of his friends who were dressed up as Santa Claus and an elf. Chris said in the video, “You guys know Christmas is one of my favorite times of year. I have so many Christmas songs I want to do; it was hard to narrow it down to this album.” The video can be seen here.
The release date for the Christmas album has not been revealed yet, but Chris promised more information about it as the holidays get closer.
Tyler Farr says he’s, “Definitely a real Christmas tree guy. We went to Christmas Tree Lane – this place in Missouri – out in the middle of nowhere eery year and cut down a Christmas tree. And I wanted the biggest Christmas tree, and I was all… Every bit of 90 pounds, but I wanted to saw the thing down myself.”
Luke Bryan says after such a BIG 2015, His Christmas is going to be low-key this year. He told The Tennessean that he’s, “Trying to hang out around the house, do a little shopping, a little Santa Clausing.” Afte Christmas, Bryan and his wife are heading to Times Square in New York City for two celebrations – Caroline’s Birthday and New Year’s Eve.
Kip Moore’s Christmas memories a kid growing up in Georgia involved his father, a video store and hours of Entertainment shared with those he loved. He shared,”The night before Christmas, we would rent a bunch of movies, my dad would take us to the video store and we would rent a bunch of movies and we’d watch them all through the night.”
David Nail and wife Catherine received two early Christmas gifts with the arrival of their twins on Saturday (12/12). The proud parents welcomed their twins, son Lawson Brent Nail born at 7:44 am and daughter Lillian Catherine Nail at 7:45 am at a local Nashville area hospital. The couple shared, “No words can describe the feeling, beyond worth the wait. We are crazy in love with them both.”
