Garth Brooks and his band the G-men are among the 2016 inductees into the Musicians Hall of Fame. The class of 2016 also includes Ricky Skaggs, the late Jerry Reed and members of the Sigma Sound Studio Rhythm Section, a group of soul musicians who were a part of the “Philadelphia sound” of the 1970s. The honorees will formally be inducted on October 26 during a ceremony at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium.
