Auditions for ‘Home Again’ at George Daily Auditorium

Auditions for “Home Again” will be held at the George Daily Auditorium on May 6-7 from 5:00-8:00 PM. This is an original Mahaska musical written by the George Daily Auditorium. They are looking for performers, storytellers, singers, dancers, volunteers, and Mahaska County enthusiasts to be part of this one-of-a-kind production. New- and long-time residents from all over Mahaska County are invited to audition. No experience necessary. Ages 8 and up of all ability levels are invited. If auditioning for a singing role, you may bring a prepared song or sing a familiar one like “Happy Birthday”. Those auditioning for non-singing roles need not sing. Joseph Hall’s Elvis: Rock ‘n’ Remember

Elvis is in the building at the George Daily Auditorium on Saturday, March 10 at 7:30 PM! Joseph Hall has the look, the voice, the charm, and the moves to take us back to a time when fans fell in love with the high spirited Elvis Presley. His show will take you through a journey of Elvis hits from rock ‘n’ roll, country, pop, rhythm and blues, and gospel. Joseph Hall has been officially recognized as one of the top tribute artists in the world and was a finalist on America’s Got Talent. Sponsored by C.L. Barnhouse.

‘On Golden Pond’ at George Daily Auditorium

The Tony Award-winning stage play On Golden Pond is coming to the George Daily Auditorium on Monday, February 12 at 7:30 p.m. This American treasure follows aging couple Ethel and Norman in the twilight years of their long marriage and their turbulent relationship with their daughter. The movie version starring Henry & Jane Fonda and Katherine Hepburn, based on the stage play, won 5 Academy Awards for its story and acting.
