On this day in 2014, Kacey Musgraves won two awards during the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, which aired on CBS from Los Angeles’ Staples Center. She took home Best Country Album, for Same Trailer Different Park, and Best Country Song, for “Merry Go ‘Round.”

Kacey Musgraves Concert Raises Over $100,000 For Her Hometown

Kacey Musgraves returned to her hometown of Mineola, Texas, in September to play a benefit concert at the Mineola Nature Preserve, and now it’s been revealed that the show has raised more than $100,000 for the community. The Music And Arts Program Of Wood County Public Schools will receive $65,000 of the money raised, with nearly $40,000 going toward technology.

Grand Ole Opry Joining Women Rock For The Cure In The Fight Against Breast Cancer

The Grand Ole Opry is joining Women Rock For The Cure in the fight against breast cancer on Tuesday, October 27th with its seventh annual “Opry Goes Pink” show. Kacey Musgraves will flip the switch on the Opry’s signature barn backdrop, turning it pink for the night as Musgraves and others including Opry Members Terri Clark and Montgomery Gentry perform in support of breast cancer awareness.

Kacey Musgraves Releasing “Kacey for Lucchese” Boots

Kacey Musgraves has partnered with the western brand Lucchese to introduce “Kacey For Lucchese,” a collection of boots ispired by Musgraves’ life and experiences over the past couple of years both musically and personally. The line features four different western bood designs.
