McKenna Haase Makes Knoxville Raceway History

Saturday night was one for the record books at Knoxville Raceway, with McKenna Haase claiming the first female feature win in a sprint car at the track. Haase, who races in the 305 class, is in her second year of competing at Knoxville Raceway.

To add to the excitement, 18-year-old Haase graduated from Carlisle High School on Sunday, where she delivered the commencement speech as her class valedictorian.

Haase was ecstatic about the win. “This was the night I told everyone I wanted to win, because I wanted to be on a podium two days in a row,” she said. “This is a dream come true!”

Future plans for the young racer include attending Drake to study finance in the fall, and the hope of racing with the World of Outlaws.

Haase thanks her family, crew, fans, and supporters. In addition, she is grateful to her sponsors, including Iowa Select Farms, Casey’s General Stores, Stine Seed, Fleck Trucking, Larry Huff, Wreckamended Collision Center, Des Moines Industrial Products, Tom & Terry Wilson, Chix Gear Racewear, Lady Eagle Safetywear, Fox Construction, Champion Signs, Tyr Sports Drinks, and Defy All Odds Apparel.
