On this day in 2015, Sam Hunt spent the first of six weeks at #1 on the Billboard Country Singles chart with “House Party”. The song was the third single from his debut studio album, Montevallo. “House Party” has since been Certified Platinum by the RIAA.

 

Luke Bryan The Big Winner At Sunday’s American Country Countdown Awards

Luke Bryan was the big winner at Sunday’s American Country Countdown Awards in Los Angeles. Bryan earned the night’s top prize Artist of the Year as well as the Male Vocalist of the year trophy. Sam Hunt also took home two trophies, winning awards for Breakthrough Male of the Year, and Digital Album of the year for Montevallo.

On this day in 2015, Sam Hunt’s Montevallo album was running through a four-week stay on top of the Billboard Country Albums Chart. Hunt just played a show in Nashville last night (2/10/2016) at the Ryman Auditorium for Radio Broadcasters Nationwide.
